ABOUT THIS PROJECT
ModelMix is an experimental SaaS prototype designed to simplify the process of comparing and evaluating responses from multiple AI models. Rather than jumping between platforms or repeating prompts, users can interact with several models from a single, unified interface. Built with flexibility and scalability in mind, this project explores how AI tools can be compared in real-time to improve both developer workflows and end-user experience.
What is ModelMix
ModelMix is a web-based application that sends one user prompt to several AI providers simultaneously and returns their responses side by side. The user can then choose the most helpful response and continue the conversation with that specific model, with the original context preserved. The app supports user-supplied API keys for each provider, allowing full control over usage and cost.
The interface includes features like response voting, session continuity, and early-stage usage analytics. It’s built using TypeScript, Node.js, and Shadcn UI, and deployed via Netlify using the Bolt framework.
